Dr hab. Marek Salamonowicz, Professor at the Kazimierz Wielki University, represented the University during a series of prestigious scientific events in Brazil. His activities included participation in international congresses, seminars, and conferences dedicated to intellectual property, artificial intelligence, election law, and cybersecurity issues.


Between 31 October and 9 November 2025, Dr hab. Marek Salamonowicz, Prof. UKW, stayed at the Federal University of Paraná in Curitiba, where he took part in three scientific events: the 19th Congress on Copyright and Public Interest (CODAIP), the 24th International Seminar on the Information Society and Intellectual Property, and the 10th International Scientific Conference “National Legal Systems and EU Law.” He delivered papers on topics including authorship of AI-assisted inventions, the legal framework for text and data mining (TDM), and the scope of freedom of expression during election campaigns.

After returning to Poland, Professor took an active part in the 2nd International Scientific Conference “AI in Local Government,” and in September he also participated in four national scientific conferences on intellectual property law and civil law. The stay in Brazil resulted in strengthened international cooperation and new research initiatives.
