UKW Launches Its First English-Taught Engineering Programme: Mechatronics

Starting from the 2026/2027 academic year, Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz is introducing Mechatronics – the first fully English-taught degree programme at UKW.

This full-time, first-cycle engineering programme combines mechanical engineering, electronics, automation, robotics, and computer science to prepare graduates for careers in modern industry and advanced technologies.

From the third semester, students can choose one of two specialization tracks:

Unmanned Systems Engineering – drones, autonomous platforms, aerodynamics, signal and image processing, mobile systems programming, and 3D prototyping.

Mechatronics in Production Systems – industrial automation, CAD/CAM technologies, ERP systems, mechatronic design, and automated production lines.

Graduates will be equipped to work in sectors such as manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, industrial automation, and intelligent production systems.
