Free Legal Consultations for International Students in Poland. Book a meeting now!
International students studying in Poland can now benefit from free individual legal consultations offered as part of the Academia Law Hub project.
The initiative aims to make Polish higher education regulations more accessible, understandable, and practically useful for people who do not speak Polish. It also seeks to help international students better understand and exercise their rights within the academic community.
What support is available?
During an individual consultation, international students can receive assistance with matters concerning:
- students’ rights and responsibilities;
- university regulations and internal academic procedures;
- study progress, credits, and examinations;
- appeal procedures;
- scholarships and other available forms of support;
- interpretation of regulations related to studying in Poland;
- challenges encountered within the academic environment.
The consultations are conducted by experts specializing in higher education law who have both academic knowledge and practical experience in supporting students and doctoral candidates.
Legal experts
Przemysław Mroczkowski, MA
Przemysław Mroczkowski is a lawyer, economist, and PhD candidate at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw. He specializes in administrative law and higher education law.
He is the author of more than 20 academic publications, including a co-authored commentary on the Polish Law on Higher Education and Science. He has extensive experience working on behalf of the academic community, including serving as Chair of the Doctoral Students’ Council at the University of Warsaw, a member of the Doctoral Candidates’ Rights Ombudsman Team, and an expert in the quality of doctoral education.

Ewelina Tomczyk, MA
Ewelina Tomczyk is a lawyer, PhD candidate at the Department of Civil Procedure, and research assistant at the University of Wrocław.
She is the author of academic publications concerning civil procedure, international law, and higher education law. She also has experience supporting the academic community through doctoral self-government and her work as a member of the Doctoral Candidates’ Rights Ombudsman Team.
Consultation dates: Every Friday, from 11 September to 13 November 2026
Time: 6:00–7:30 p.m.
Practical information
Consultations are held online via Google Meet. Each meeting is:
- free of charge;
- individual;
- confidential.
As the number of appointments is limited, interested students are encouraged to book a consultation as soon as possible.
